UPDATE

April 19th 2023: She returned to Cho Ray Hospital, they said that the temporary hip replacement equipment had run out, could not be replaced immediately, had to wait for a new import. Her two hip joints were damaged 65%, only 35% remained. They said she tried to endure more time. When there are enough replacement devices, they will replace them immediately.

Currently, her health insurance for poor households is on the same line as Cho Ray Hospital. Will enjoy 80 -> 95% depending on the severity of the disease.

If she now moves to another Hospital, she will not receive insurance or up to only 48% depending on the situation. Thus: If she wants to transfer to another Hospital for replacement, it will cost a part or double the current amount, it will cost about VND 70 million -> VND 120 million for a hip joint.

REALITY

The cost for a hip replacement surgery is VND 50 million, including insurance from 80 -> 95%. Two joints are VND 100 million.

So the money we gave her + she borrowed more = VND 50 million, only one hip replacement could be used. About 3 months later, she can replace the remaining joint and of course it costs VND 50 million more. We and She did not think much. Currently, she has difficulty walking because of pain and almost lies in one place. I just hope she gets a joint replacement surgery first and then slowly.

THE MONEY WE SPONSORED

1. If it is possible to perform surgery: If she waits for a long time, there is no equipment to replace at Cho Ray Hospital, the joint is still not 100% damaged, it can still be replaced: Ms. Tuyen will borrow more to transfer the hospital. Others have enough replacement equipment.

2. Can't perform hip replacement surgery: If she waits too long, the joint replacement equipment of Cho Ray Hospital is still not available + Her joint is 100% completely damaged, cannot be replaced, only removed . We will ask for your opinion on the amount of the donation and there will be 03 possibilities as follows:

- Still giving her to pay for her monthly check-up at Cho Ray Hospital.

- Transfer to another situation.

- Return to the benefactor.

We will do whatever the benefactor wants, with full respect!

Currently, she is staying at an acquaintance's house in Ward 5, Ca Mau province and waiting for news from Cho Ray Hospital. We will continue to update as new developments become available!

This is a prescription. They continued to give her medication while waiting for new equipment to arrive so that she could perform a hip replacement surgery first:

This is the appointment letter. They make an appointment next month. If there is enough equipment for joint replacement surgery between now and then, they will let her know. It could be earlier or it could be later:
